Karine Jean-Pierre

Karine Jean-Pierre, born on August thirteenth, nineteen seventy-four, is a prominent American political advisor and spokesperson. She made history as the thirty-fifth White House press secretary, serving from two thousand twenty-two to two thousand twenty-five. Notably, she is the first Black individual and the first openly LGBTQ person to hold this esteemed position. Her tenure as press secretary followed her role as deputy press secretary under Jen Psaki from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-two.

Before her influential work in the Biden administration, Jean-Pierre was the chief of staff for U.S. vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris during the two thousand twenty presidential campaign. Her extensive experience also includes serving as the senior advisor and national spokeswoman for the progressive advocacy group MoveOn.org, as well as a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.
