Karl-Otto Koch

Karl-Otto Koch, born on August second, nineteen ninety-seven, was a notable figure in the dark history of Nazi Germany. As a mid-ranking commander in the Schutzstaffel (SS), he held significant power and responsibility, particularly as the first commandant of the notorious concentration camps at Buchenwald and Sachsenhausen.

From September nineteen forty-one to August nineteen forty-two, Koch's role expanded as he became the first commandant of the Majdanek concentration camp in German-occupied Poland.
