Carl Abou Samah, known professionally as Karl Wolf, is a Lebanese-Canadian musician who has made a significant impact on the music scene since his debut in 2001. Born on April 18, 1979, in Lebanon, he later moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he cultivated his career as a singer, songwriter, and producer.
Wolf's journey in music began with the release of his first solo album, 'Face Behind the Face,' in two thousand six, under MapleNationwide/Universal. This was followed by 'Bite the Bullet' in two thousand seven, and his third album, 'Nightlife,' in two thousand nine. His discography continued to grow with the release of 'Finally Free' in two thousand twelve, 'Stereotype' in two thousand fourteen, and 'WOW' in two thousand fifteen.
One of his most notable achievements is his rendition of Toto's classic 'Africa,' which he reimagined with new lyrics and arrangements, showcasing his unique style. In addition to his solo work, Wolf is also the founder of Lone Wolf Management, where he manages emerging artists, further contributing to the music industry.
In two thousand fifteen, he announced a collaboration project named BAE (Be All Equal) alongside Show Stephens, Brenda Mullen, and producer MasterTrak. His career continued to flourish as he signed a new solo contract with Cordova Bay Records in Canada and secured two worldwide deals in Los Angeles, including a publishing contract with BMG and a digital deal with Collective Digital Studios.
