Katie Smith

Katie Smith, born on June fourth, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished American basketball coach and former player. Currently serving as an assistant coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes women's basketball team, she has made significant contributions to the sport both on and off the court.

As a retired professional basketball player, Smith primarily played as a shooting guard, though her versatility allowed her to also excel as a small forward and point guard. Over her illustrious career in the American Basketball League and the Women's National Basketball Association, she amassed more than seven thousand points, solidifying her status as the all-time leading scorer in women's professional basketball.
