Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves, born on September 2, 1964, in Beirut and raised in Toronto, is a multifaceted Canadian actor and musician whose career spans over four decades. He is celebrated for his leading roles in action films and is known for his amiable public persona and philanthropic endeavors. In 2020, The New York Times recognized him as the fourth-greatest actor of the 21st century, and in 2022, Time magazine included him in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Reeves made his acting debut in the Canadian television series Hangin' In in 1984, followed by his feature-film debut in Youngblood in 1986. His breakthrough came with the science-fiction comedies Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and its sequel, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, both released in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He gained critical acclaim for his role in the independent drama My Own Private Idaho and solidified his status as an action star with films like Point Break and Speed.

After facing some box-office setbacks, Reeves experienced a resurgence in his career with the horror film The Devil's Advocate in 1997.
