Kehkashan Basu

Kehkashan Basu, born on June fifth, two thousand, is a prominent Canadian environmental and human rights activist hailing from the United Arab Emirates. With a passion for advocating peace and children's rights, she has dedicated her life to promoting education for sustainable development, nuclear disarmament, gender equality, and climate justice.

As the Founder-President of the Green Hope Foundation, Kehkashan has made significant strides in empowering youth to take action on pressing global issues. Her leadership extends to her roles as the youngest Councillor of the World Future Council and the youngest Trustee of the Parliament of the World's Religions, where she influences policy and fosters dialogue on critical matters.

In addition to her advocacy work, Kehkashan is a member of KidsRights Youngsters, a platform that amplifies the voices of young activists worldwide.
