Kehlani

Kehlani, born on April 24, 1995, is an American singer-songwriter and dancer who first gained recognition as a member of the teen pop group PopLyfe. The group showcased their talents on America's Got Talent in 2011, setting the stage for Kehlani's future solo career.

After departing from PopLyfe, Kehlani released two critically acclaimed mixtapes: Cloud 19 in 2014 and You Should Be Here in 2015. Both projects received gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with You Should Be Here marking Kehlani's first entry on the US Billboard 200 and earning a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

In 2017, Kehlani signed with Atlantic Records to release their debut studio album, SweetSexySavage, which achieved significant commercial success, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200. Their follow-up album, It Was Good Until It Wasn't, released in 2020, reached number two, while their third album, Blue Water Road, released in 2022, peaked at number 13 and received widespread critical acclaim.

Kehlani's fourth studio album, Crash, is set to release in 2024 and has already peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200. In 2025, their single 'Folded' reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and won accolades for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
