Kelly Bechard

Kelly Bechard, born on January twenty-second, nineteen seventy-eight, in Sedley, Saskatchewan, is a distinguished Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. Her impressive career includes playing for notable teams such as the Calgary Oval X-Treme, Brampton Thunder, and Mississauga Aeros. Bechard's dedication to the sport culminated in a remarkable achievement when she won a gold medal with the Canadian national team at the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City.

Before her illustrious hockey career, Bechard showcased her athletic prowess as a provincial doubles badminton champion during her high school years. She further honed her skills in ice hockey while attending the University of Calgary, where she played university-level hockey, laying the foundation for her future successes.
