As a former right wing, he showcased his skills in the National Hockey League, where he played a total of one hundred thirty-seven games for the Quebec Nordiques and the Toronto Maple Leafs. His journey in the NHL began when he was drafted by the Nordiques in the first round, eighteenth overall, during the nineteen eighty-six NHL Entry Draft.
