Kenny Omega, born Tyson Smith on October 16, 1983, is a Canadian professional wrestler renowned for his exceptional in-ring skills and technical prowess. Currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), he serves as both an active competitor and an executive vice president, leading the influential stable known as The Elite. Omega's unique persona often incorporates elements from video games, making him a standout figure in the wrestling world.
Before his tenure at AEW, which began in 2019, Omega made a significant impact in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) from 2014 to 2019. During this period, he captured prestigious titles, including the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, and was a prominent member and leader of the Bullet Club stable. His career also spans various independent promotions globally, such as DDT Pro-Wrestling, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, as well as larger organizations like Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling.
