Kenny Roberts

Kenny Roberts, born on December thirty-first, nineteen fifty-one, is a distinguished American former professional motorcycle racer and a prominent racing team owner. His remarkable career took a significant turn in nineteen seventy-eight when he became the first American to clinch a Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship, marking a pivotal moment in the sport's history.

In addition to his world championship title, Roberts is a two-time winner of the A.M.A. Grand National Championship. He is celebrated as one of only four riders in the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) racing history to achieve the prestigious AMA Grand Slam, which includes victories at mile, half-mile, short-track, TT Steeplechase, and road race events.

Roberts' influence extended beyond his racing achievements; he was a safety advocate and a visionary racing team owner. His innovative dirt track-based riding style revolutionized the approach to Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
