Keshia Baker

Keshia Chantay Baker, born on January 30, 1988, in Fairfield, California, is a distinguished American track and field athlete. Known for her remarkable speed and competitive spirit, she has made significant strides in the world of athletics, particularly in the 400 meters and relay events.

During her high school years at Fairfield High School, Keshia showcased her talent by finishing third in the 400 meters at the 2006 CIF California State Meet, having been a finalist in the previous two years. Her dedication and hard work paved the way for her collegiate career at the University of Oregon, where she continued to excel.

At the 2010 NCAA Championships, Keshia played a pivotal role in securing victory for Oregon's 4 × 400 relay team, anchoring them to triumph while also finishing fourth in the open 400 meters. Her impressive performances earned her recognition and respect among her peers, including future Olympic teammate Francena McCorory.
