Kevin Todd, born on May fourth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian former ice hockey forward who made his mark in the National Hockey League (NHL). His professional journey began with the New Jersey Devils during the nineteen eighty-eight to eighty-nine season, where he quickly showcased his talent on the ice.
Throughout his career, Todd played for several prominent teams, including the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings, and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. His versatility and skill as a forward allowed him to leave a lasting impression in the league.
After concluding his NHL career following the nineteen ninety-seven to ninety-eight season, Todd ventured overseas to Switzerland, where he played one season for EV Zug. Unfortunately, his career was cut short due to a career-ending neck injury, leading to his retirement from professional hockey.
During his time in the American Hockey League (AHL), Todd achieved notable success, winning the Les Cunningham Award and the John B. Sollenberger Trophy in the nineteen ninety-one season. He also made history by breaking the New Jersey Devils rookie scoring record, which was previously held by Kirk Muller, although it has since been surpassed by Scott Gomez.
