Khalil Sultan

Khalil Sultan, born on the fourteenth day of the ninth month in the year one thousand three hundred eighty-four, was a prominent monarch in the Timurid dynasty. He ascended to power as the ruler of Transoxiana on the eighteenth of February in the year one thousand four hundred five, a position he held until the year one thousand four hundred nine.

As the son of Miran Shah and the grandson of the illustrious conqueror Timur, Khalil Sultan inherited a legacy steeped in military prowess and cultural patronage. His reign, though brief, was marked by the challenges of maintaining the vast territories established by his forebears.

Despite the tumultuous times, Khalil Sultan's leadership was characterized by efforts to uphold the traditions of the Timurid empire. His rule contributed to the rich tapestry of history in Central Asia, reflecting the complexities of governance during a period of significant change.
