His football journey began in the youth ranks of prestigious Parisian clubs, Paris Saint Germain and Red Star, before he transitioned to FC Liège in the Belgian League.

Fadiga made his senior debut with FC Liège during the nineteen ninety-four to nineteen ninety-five season, showcasing his talent before moving on to play for Lommel, known as KVSK United, and Club Brugge. In two thousand, he embarked on a loan spell with Auxerre, which turned into a permanent signing in two thousand one.

In the summer of two thousand three, Fadiga signed with Inter Milan. However, his time at the club was marred by health issues, as doctors discovered heart problems that prevented him from playing.
