Khyentse Norbu

Khyentse Norbu, born on January first, nineteen sixty-one, is a multifaceted individual known for his contributions as a film director, screenwriter, lama, actor, commentator, and philanthropist. He is the eldest son of Thinley Norbu and the grandson of the revered Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, which places him in a significant lineage within Tibetan Buddhism.

As a prominent figure in the Rimé movement, Khyentse Norbu has been influenced by teachers from all four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He regards Dilgo Khyentse as his principal guru and is dedicated to preserving the teachings of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. His commitment to these teachings is evident in his works, including the book 'Buddha Nature: Mahayana-Uttaratantra-Shastra with Commentary,' published in two thousand seven.

In addition to his literary contributions, Khyentse Norbu is currently working on an autobiography titled 'Mugwort Born.' His teachings and insights are accessible to a wider audience through the Siddhartha's Intent YouTube channel, where he shares his knowledge and experiences.
