Kid Ink

Kid Ink, born on April first, nineteen eighty-six, is a multifaceted artist known for his contributions as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained significant attention with his mixtape, Almost Home, released in two thousand thirteen, which set the stage for his major label debut album, My Own Lane, the following year. This album achieved remarkable success, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200 chart and featuring the hit single 'Show Me' with Chris Brown, which reached number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned quadruple platinum certification from the RIAA.

In addition to 'Show Me', My Own Lane included other popular tracks such as 'Iz U Down' featuring Tyga and 'Main Chick' featuring Chris Brown. Kid Ink continued to build on his success with his third album, Full Speed, released in two thousand fifteen. This album peaked at number fourteen on the Billboard 200 and produced the singles 'Body Language' featuring Usher and Tinashe, and 'Be Real' featuring Dej Loaf, both of which received platinum certifications.

Kid Ink's artistic journey also includes his sixth mixtape, Summer in the Winter, released in two thousand fifteen, which was preceded by the double platinum-certified single 'Promise' featuring Fetty Wap. His second EP, 7 Series, released in two thousand seventeen, made a brief appearance on the Billboard 200 and was led by the single 'F with U' featuring Ty Dolla Sign. Following this, his third EP, Missed Calls, released in two thousand nineteen, was supported by the single 'YUSO' featuring Lil Wayne and Saweetie, although it did not chart, marking his final release with RCA.

In two thousand twenty-one, Kid Ink returned with his fourth album, Alive, which marked his first independent project in nearly a decade. This transition reflects his evolution as an artist and his commitment to creating music on his own terms.
