Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Kieron Dyer

Kieron Dyer, born on December 29, 1978, in Ipswich, is a distinguished former English professional footballer who made his mark as a midfielder. His football journey began at Ipswich Town, where he honed his skills in the youth ranks before making nearly one hundred league appearances for the first team. Dyer's talent caught the eye of Newcastle United, who acquired him for six million pounds, a record fee for an Ipswich player at the time.

During his tenure at Newcastle from 1999 to 2007, Dyer became a fan favorite, contributing to the team with nearly two hundred appearances. However, his career took a challenging turn when he transferred to West Ham United for the same fee. Unfortunately, a series of injuries plagued his time there, limiting him to just thirty league appearances over four seasons.

In March 2011, Dyer returned to Ipswich on loan before signing with Queens Park Rangers ahead of the 2011–12 Premier League season. Regrettably, injuries continued to hinder his performance, resulting in only eight appearances for QPR before his release in January 2013. He concluded his playing career at Middlesbrough, where he retired after the season.

On the international stage, Dyer proudly represented England thirty-three times between 1999 and 2007. He was part of the national squads that reached the quarter-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2004, showcasing his talent on a global platform.
