Kim Hee-chul

Kim Hee-chul, born on July 10, 1983, is a multifaceted South Korean artist known for his talents as a singer-songwriter, actor, and television presenter. He gained fame as a member of the iconic boy band Super Junior and has also contributed to various subgroups, including Super Junior-T and project groups like Universe Cowards and Woojoo jjokkomi. Additionally, he was part of the now-disbanded pop rock duo Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo.

Heechul's journey in the entertainment industry began in 2005 with his acting debut in the teen drama Sharp 2. His charisma and talent quickly led him to host radio shows and music programs, including his first music show, Show! Music Tank. However, his career faced a significant challenge in 2006 when a car accident resulted in a fractured left leg, limiting his ability to perform the demanding choreography of Super Junior. Despite this setback, he continued to shine as a vocalist and songwriter.

In 2009, Heechul ventured into soundtrack singing, releasing his first single, "First Star," for the drama Loving You a Thousand Times. His songwriting skills have allowed him to contribute lyrics not only for Super Junior but also for his various project groups and other artists. In 2019, he made his solo debut with the digital single "Old Movie," showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Heechul's television career took off in 2010 when he became a regular cast member on the popular show Radio Star, earning the "Best Newcomer Award" at the 11th MBC Entertainment Awards. His engaging personality led to further success on variety shows such as Knowing Bros and Weekly Idol in 2015 and 2016. Since 2019, he has been a beloved regular on reality shows My Little Old Boy and Delicious Rendezvous, receiving multiple awards for his outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry.
