Kimberley Bos

Kimberley Bos, born on October seventh, nineteen ninety-three, is a prominent Dutch skeleton racer and bobsledder who has made significant strides in the world of winter sports. She began her international career in two thousand nine, initially competing in bobsleigh, and quickly earned a spot on the Dutch national team in two thousand ten. Her passion for sliding sports led her to transition to skeleton for the two thousand thirteen to fourteen European Cup season.

Under the guidance of her personal coach, Urta Rozenstruik, Bos has honed her skills and competes on the Skeleton World Cup circuit, showcasing her talent and determination. She rides a Bromley sled, which has become an integral part of her racing identity. Beyond her athletic pursuits, Bos is also a dedicated physiotherapy student, often stepping in as an unofficial physiotherapist for her fellow athletes.

Kimberley made history as the only woman representing the Netherlands in skeleton at the two thousand eighteen Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where she impressively finished in eighth place. Her journey continued as she returned to the Olympic stage for the two thousand twenty-two Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she achieved a remarkable feat by winning the bronze medal. This victory marked her as the first Dutch Olympic medalist in a sliding sport, solidifying her legacy in the realm of winter athletics.
