Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Kimbo Slice

Kevin Ferguson, born on February 8, 1974, and better known as Kimbo Slice, was a Bahamian-American who made a significant impact in the world of combat sports and entertainment. Initially gaining fame as a bare-knuckle boxer, he became a viral sensation in the 2000s through mutual combat street fight videos, earning the title of 'The King of the Web Brawlers' from Rolling Stone.

In 2005, Slice transitioned to mixed martial arts, leaving behind the underground fighting scene. He made his professional MMA debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships in 2007 and soon signed with EliteXC. His notable victory over MMA pioneer Tank Abbott in 2008 marked a significant milestone in his career.

Slice's journey continued as he joined the UFC, competing in The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights in 2009. Although he faced a setback in his first fight against Roy Nelson, he rebounded with a victory over Houston Alexander at the TUF 10 Finale. However, he encountered challenges in his official UFC debut, losing to Matt Mitrione in 2010.

After parting ways with the UFC, Slice explored the professional boxing circuit from 2011 to 2013. In January 2015, he signed with Bellator MMA, where he achieved a notable victory against MMA icon Ken Shamrock. Sadly, Kimbo Slice passed away from heart failure on June 6, 2016, leaving behind a legacy that transcended the ring and the screen.
