Kina Grannis

Kina Grannis, born on August fourth, nineteen eighty-five, is a multifaceted American artist known for her talents as a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and composer. She first gained national attention in two thousand eight when she won the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest, which not only earned her a recording contract with Interscope Records but also featured her music video during the commercials of Super Bowl XLII.

In two thousand ten, Grannis released her debut album, Stairwells, alongside the music video for her hit single, 'In Your Arms.' This breakthrough led to notable appearances on popular television shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Her career took a significant turn in two thousand fourteen when she joined the crowdfunding platform Patreon, shortly before the release of her album Elements.

While touring in support of Elements, Grannis faced an unexpected challenge, being held in Indonesia for one hundred days. Her artistic journey continued with a long-standing collaboration with Wong Fu Productions, culminating in a starring role in the YouTube Red Original romantic comedy series, Single by 30.

In two thousand eighteen, she released In the Waiting, the first album from her listener-supported label. This period also saw her making a cameo appearance in the Critics' Choice Award-winning film Crazy Rich Asians, followed by an international concert tour that showcased her growing influence in the music industry.
