King Yuan of Zhou

King Yuan of Zhou, known in Chinese as 周元王 (Zhōu Yuán Wáng), was a significant figure in the history of the Zhou dynasty. Born with the personal name Ji Ren, he ascended to the throne during a pivotal time in Chinese history.

His reign lasted from four hundred seventy-six BC to four hundred sixty-nine BC, a period marked by both challenges and developments within the kingdom. As a ruler, King Yuan was known for his efforts to maintain stability and governance in a time of political fragmentation.
