Kiril Despodov

Kiril Despodov, born on November eleventh, nineteen ninety-six, is a prominent Bulgarian professional footballer who has made a name for himself as a winger. Currently, he plays for the Super League Greece club PAOK and proudly captains the Bulgaria national team.

Despodov's football journey began in the youth teams at Litex Lovech, where he honed his skills before making his senior debut at the tender age of fifteen in two thousand twelve. His career took a significant turn in June two thousand sixteen when he joined CSKA Sofia, quickly establishing himself as a key player and the team's star.

His exceptional talent was recognized when he won the prestigious Bulgarian Footballer of the Year award in two thousand eighteen, becoming the first player from CSKA to achieve this honor since the legendary Hristo Stoichkov in nineteen eighty-nine. Despodov's remarkable performances earned him the award again in two thousand twenty-one and two thousand twenty-two, solidifying his status in Bulgarian football.
