Kjetil-Vidar Haraldstad, known by his stage name Frost, is a prominent Norwegian drummer celebrated for his work in the black metal scene, particularly with the bands Satyricon and 1349. Born on June twenty-eighth, nineteen seventy-three, in Øyer Municipality, Oppland county, Frost has made a significant impact on the genre with his exceptional drumming skills.
Initially joining Satyricon on a temporary basis to record the demo 'The Forest is My Throne', he later became a full-time member. Frost's drumming style is characterized by his proficiency in various techniques, including the use of blast beats in his earlier work with Satyricon and 1349. His contributions to the band are credited simply as 'battery' on all Satyricon albums, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.
Frost's musical journey includes performances with notable bands such as Gorgoroth, Zyklon-B, Gehenna, and Keep Of Kalessin.
