Kofi Kingston, born on August 14, 1981, is a celebrated Ghanaian and American professional wrestler, renowned for his dynamic performances in WWE. Since 2006, he has been a prominent figure in the wrestling world, captivating audiences on the Raw brand under the ring name Kofi Kingston. Initially, he began his wrestling journey on the New England independent circuit, portraying a Jamaican character named Kofi Nahaje Kingston before signing a developmental deal with WWE.

Kingston made his WWE debut in 2008 on the ECW brand, continuing to embody his Jamaican persona. However, by late 2009, he transitioned to being billed from his native Ghana, marking a significant shift in his wrestling identity. Over the years, he has achieved remarkable success, becoming a four-time Intercontinental Champion, a three-time United States Champion, and a one-time World Tag Team Champion alongside CM Punk.

In 2014, Kofi Kingston formed the iconic trio The New Day with Big E and Xavier Woods. This partnership not only entertained fans but also set records, including the longest tag team championship reign in WWE history from August 2015 to December 2016.
