Koki Ikeda

Koki Ikeda, born on May third, nineteen ninety-eight, is a prominent Japanese racewalking athlete who has made significant strides in the world of athletics. A graduate of Toyo University, Ikeda has dedicated his life to mastering the art of racewalking, showcasing his talent on both national and international stages.

Ikeda's athletic prowess was highlighted when he clinched a bronze medal in the twenty kilometers race walk at the 2019 Asian Race Walking Championships held in Nomi. His remarkable performance earned him a spot representing Japan at the 2019 World Athletics Championships, where he competed fiercely in the same distance.

His career reached new heights when he secured a silver medal at the twenty twenty Summer Olympics, followed by another silver at the 2022 World Athletics Championships, both in the twenty kilometers walk event. However, Ikeda's career faced a significant setback in February twenty twenty-five when he was banned for anti-doping violations for four years, effective from November twenty twenty-four.
