Konrad Krajewski

Konrad Krajewski, born on November twenty-fifth, nineteen sixty-three, is a distinguished Polish Catholic prelate who has made significant contributions to the Church. In March twenty twenty-six, he was appointed as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódź, a role that underscores his leadership within the Catholic community.

Before his elevation to Archbishop, Krajewski served as the prefect of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity from two thousand thirteen to twenty twenty-six. His tenure in this position was marked by a deep commitment to charitable works, reflecting the compassionate mission of the Church.

From nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand thirteen, he held the esteemed position of Papal Master of Ceremonies, where he played a crucial role in the liturgical celebrations of the Vatican. In two thousand thirteen, he was appointed Papal Almoner, tasked with coordinating the charitable initiatives of Pope Francis and leading the Office of Papal Charities, which evolved into the Dicastery for the Service of Charity following the implementation of the apostolic constitution Praedicate evangelium in June twenty twenty-two.
