Konstantin Savitsky

Konstantin Savitsky, born on June sixth, eighteen forty-four, emerged as a prominent figure in the realm of Russian realism. His artistic journey began in the city of Taganrog, specifically in the village of Frankovka, which was later known as Baronovka. This area, once under the governance of Otto Pfeilizer-Frank, has since transformed into the site of the Taganrog Iron and Steel Factory TAGMET.
