He made headlines by clinching a gold medal in the 125 kg category of men's freestyle wrestling at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

Jarvis's prowess extends beyond the Commonwealth Games; he has dominated the Canadian National Wrestling Championships, securing victories for three consecutive years in both freestyle and Greco-Roman styles. This remarkable feat makes him the only wrestler to achieve such a milestone, further solidifying his legacy in Canadian wrestling.

In July two thousand sixteen, Jarvis earned a spot on Canada's Olympic team for the Summer Olympics held in Rio. Competing in the 125 kg category, he finished in eighth place, demonstrating his competitive spirit on the world stage.
