Kormisosh

Kormisosh, also known by various names such as Kormesiy, Kormesios, Krumesis, Kormisoš, or Cormesius, was a notable ruler of Bulgaria in the eighth century. His reign is documented in a limited number of historical texts, which provide a glimpse into the political landscape of early medieval Bulgaria.

Scholars debate Kormisosh's position within the lineage of Bulgarian rulers. He is often placed as either the successor to Tervel and the predecessor of Sevar, or alternatively, as the successor to Sevar and the predecessor of Vineh. This ambiguity highlights the complexities of Bulgarian history during this period.

Despite the scant records, Kormisosh's leadership contributed to the shaping of Bulgaria's early statehood. His era was marked by significant developments that would influence the future of the region.
