Kōsei Inoue

Kōsei Inoue, born on May fifteenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a distinguished Japanese judoka renowned for his exceptional skills in the sport. He achieved international fame by clinching the gold medal in the under one hundred kilogram class at the two thousand Summer Olympics, a testament to his dedication and prowess on the mat.

Inoue is particularly celebrated for his mastery of signature throws, including the Uchi Mata, or inner thigh throw, and the Ōuchi gari, known as the major inner reap. His technical expertise has earned him a revered status within the judo community, where he is recognized as one of the finest competitive judoka of his time.
