Kristi Richards

Kristi Richards, born on October twenty-seventh, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished Canadian freestyle skier hailing from Summerland, British Columbia. Specializing in moguls, she has made a significant mark in the world of competitive skiing.

In two thousand three, Richards showcased her talent by clinching the Canadian championships and the Apex Mountain BC Nor-Am Cup in the same year. Her prowess was further highlighted at the two thousand six Winter Olympics, where she finished seventh in the ladies' moguls event.

Richards' accolades include being a two-time recipient of the B.C. Premier's Awards, recognizing her contributions to the sport. Her crowning achievement came in two thousand seven at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, where she won the gold medal in the mogul competition, triumphing over fellow Canadian and Olympic champion Jennifer Heil.
