Niles Hollowell-Dhar, known to the world as Kshmr, is an influential figure in the music industry, celebrated for his dynamic contributions as a musician, DJ, songwriter, and record producer. Born on October 6, 1988, Kshmr initially gained recognition as a member of the production team the Cataracs, where he performed under the alias Cyrano. His journey in music has been marked by a relentless pursuit of innovation and creativity.

In the realm of electronic dance music, Kshmr has made significant strides, achieving remarkable rankings in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll. He debuted at twenty-third place in 2015, earning the title of highest new entry that year. His ascent continued as he climbed to twelfth place in 2016 and 2017, and he maintained a strong presence in subsequent years, ranking eleventh in 2021 and twelfth again in 2022.

Beyond his impressive rankings, Kshmr has also made a mark as an entrepreneur in the music industry. In July 2017, he launched Dharma Worldwide, a sublabel of Spinnin' Records, further solidifying his influence in the electronic music scene.
