Kurt M. Campbell

Kurt M. Campbell, born on August twenty-seventh, nineteen fifty-seven, is a distinguished American diplomat and businessman. He held the position of deputy secretary of state from two thousand twenty-four to two thousand twenty-five, showcasing his significant role in shaping U.S. foreign policy.

Prior to this, Campbell served as the deputy assistant advisor to President Biden and the National Security Council coordinator for the Indo-Pacific from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-four. In this influential role, he was often referred to as the Biden administration's 'Asia coordinator' or 'Asia czar,' recognized as the chief architect of Joe Biden's Asia strategy.

His extensive experience in diplomacy includes serving as the assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs during the Obama administration.
