Kuupik Kleist

Kuupik Kleist, born on March thirty-first, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Greenlandic politician known for his significant contributions to the political landscape of Greenland. He made history by serving as the prime minister from two thousand nine to two thousand thirteen, marking a pivotal moment as the first individual from the Inuit Ataqatigiit party to hold this esteemed position, breaking the long-standing affiliation with the Siumut party.

During his tenure as prime minister, Kleist focused on various issues pertinent to Greenland, advocating for the rights and interests of the Inuit people.
