Ladislav Vízek

Ladislav Vízek, born on January 22, 1955, is a distinguished Czech football player known for his remarkable contributions to the sport. Over the course of his international career, he represented Czechoslovakia in fifty-five matches, netting thirteen goals. His skill on the field was showcased during the 1982 FIFA World Cup, where he played a pivotal role, although his tournament ended with a red card in a tense final match against France that concluded in a one-to-one draw.

Vízek's illustrious career also includes significant achievements at the Olympic and European Championship levels. He was a proud member of the Czechoslovakian team that clinched the gold medal at the 1980 Olympic Games.
