Lars Jørgen Madsen

Lars Jørgen Madsen, born on July nineteenth, eighteen seventy-one, was a distinguished Danish sport shooter who made his mark in the early twentieth century. His remarkable talent in rifle shooting was showcased during the 1900 Summer Olympics held in Paris, where he clinched a gold medal in the Military Rifle standing event.

Two decades later, Madsen continued to excel in his sport, securing another gold medal in the Military Rifle Team event. His impressive achievements made him one of only three Danish athletes to earn five Olympic medals, a testament to his dedication and skill in shooting.
