László Papp

László Papp, born on March twenty-fifth, nineteen twenty-six, in Budapest, Hungary, was a remarkable professional boxer and later a boxing trainer. His left-handed style set him apart in the ring, where he achieved unprecedented success.

Papp's illustrious career is highlighted by his extraordinary performance at the Olympic Games. He made history by winning gold medals in three consecutive Olympics: the nineteen forty-eight Summer Olympics in London, the nineteen fifty-two Summer Olympics in Helsinki, and the nineteen fifty-six Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia. This remarkable feat made him the first boxer in Olympic history to secure three successive gold medals.

Throughout his Olympic journey, Papp showcased his dominance by winning twelve of his thirteen fights without losing a single round. His only setback came in his final Olympic bout against American boxer José Torres, where he dropped just one round.
