Laura Flessel-Colovic

Laura Flessel-Colovic, born on November sixth, nineteen seventy-one, in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, is a distinguished French politician and épée fencer. She has made her mark in the world of sports, becoming the most decorated female athlete in French Olympic history with five medals to her name. Her illustrious career culminated in her role as France's flag-bearer during the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, marking her fifth and final appearance at the Games.

Before transitioning into politics, Flessel-Colovic was a prominent member of the Levallois Sporting Club Escrime until two thousand seven, after which she joined Lagardère Paris Racing.
