Laura Mulvey, born on August fifteenth, nineteen forty-one, is a prominent British feminist film theorist and filmmaker. Her academic journey began at St Hilda's College, Oxford, where she laid the foundation for her illustrious career in film and media studies.
Currently, Mulvey serves as the Honorary Professor of Film at the University of St. Andrews and holds the title of Emerita Professor of Film and Media Studies at Birkbeck, University of London.
