Laura Poitras

Her acclaimed documentary, Citizenfour, which chronicles the revelations of Edward Snowden, earned her the prestigious Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in two thousand fifteen. Prior to this, her film My Country, My Country received an Oscar nomination in two thousand seven. Poitras's investigative reporting on the NSA disclosures garnered her the George Polk Award in two thousand thirteen, highlighting her commitment to uncovering critical issues.

In two thousand twenty-two, Poitras released All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, a documentary that delves into the life of artist Nan Goldin and the controversies surrounding the Sackler family.
