Lauren Oliver

Lauren Oliver, born on November eighth, nineteen eighty-two, is a celebrated American author renowned for her contributions to young adult literature. She has penned numerous acclaimed novels, including the gripping thriller Panic and the Delirium trilogy, which consists of Delirium, Pandemonium, and Requiem. Her novel Before I Fall was adapted into a major motion picture in two thousand seventeen, showcasing her ability to captivate audiences across different mediums.

In addition to her young adult works, Oliver has made her mark in middle-grade literature with titles such as Liesl & Po, which earned her a nomination for the prestigious E. B. White Read Aloud Award in two thousand twelve. Her fantasy novel The Spindlers further demonstrates her versatility as a writer, appealing to a wide range of readers.

A graduate of the University of Chicago, Oliver was elected to the esteemed Phi Beta Kappa society and later obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University. In two thousand ten, she co-founded Paper Lantern Lit, a literary incubator that has since evolved into Glasstown Entertainment, in collaboration with editor and poet Lexa Hillyer.
