Lauren Price

Lauren Price, born on June 25, 1994, is a distinguished Welsh professional boxer who has made significant strides in the world of combat sports. With a background as a former amateur boxer, kickboxer, and footballer, she has carved out a remarkable career in boxing, currently holding the unified WBA, WBC, IBF, IBO, and Ring female welterweight titles since March 7, 2025.

Price's journey in boxing began in the amateur ranks, where she represented Wales with pride. She achieved a historic milestone by winning a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Welsh woman to earn a boxing medal at this prestigious event. Her prowess continued to shine as she claimed gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and followed it up with another gold at the 2019 World Championships.

In addition to her Commonwealth successes, Price showcased her talent on the international stage, securing gold medals at the 2019 European Games and the 2020 Summer Olympics while representing Great Britain. Notably, she held the titles of Olympic Games, World, European Games, and Commonwealth Games champion simultaneously at Middleweight from 2019 to 2021, with only the European championship eluding her grasp.

Before fully dedicating herself to boxing, Price also enjoyed a successful football career with Cardiff City, where she played a pivotal role in winning the inaugural season of the Welsh Premier Women's Football League in 2013.
