Lavinia Miloșovici

Lavinia Miloșovici, born on October twenty-first, nineteen seventy-six, is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast who has left an indelible mark on the sport. Known affectionately as 'Milo' within the gymnastics community, she is celebrated as one of Romania's premier gymnasts and a remarkable female all-around medalist. Over a span of six years, she amassed an impressive total of nineteen medals at World Championships and Olympic Games, showcasing her extraordinary talent and dedication.

From nineteen ninety-one to nineteen ninety-six, Miloșovici medalled in every World Championships, Olympic Games, and European Championships she participated in. This remarkable achievement places her among the elite, as she became only the third female Romanian gymnast, following the legendary Larisa Latynina and Věra Čáslavská, to secure at least one title on all four events at either the World Championships or the Olympics.

In addition to her competitive accolades, Miloșovici was a pioneer in the sport, being one of the last gymnasts, alongside Lu Li, to receive the perfect score of ten point zero in an Olympic competition. She also achieved the benchmark score of nine point nine five at the World Championships, a testament to her exceptional skill and artistry.
