Layal Abboud

Layal Abboud, born on May fifteenth, nineteen eighty-two, hails from the picturesque village of Kniseh in Southern Lebanon. Growing up in a musical family, she was destined to embrace the arts. Her diverse talents span across various fields, including music, poetry, and humanitarian efforts, showcasing her multifaceted personality.

Before embarking on her artistic journey, Abboud served as an officer in the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of Lebanon. She pursued her education in English literature at Lebanese University, translation at Beirut Arab University, and musical expression at the American University of Science and Technology, laying a strong foundation for her future endeavors.

Abboud first captured the public's attention as a competitor in the Studio El-Fan series from two thousand one to two thousand two. Her musical career took off with the release of her debut album, Fi Shouq, in late two thousand seven. Known for her captivating performances, she specializes in Lebanese folklore music and has gained recognition for her summer concerts and tours.

As a member of the Syndicate of Professional Artists in Lebanon, Layal Abboud continues to inspire audiences with her unique blend of pop and folk music, while also dedicating herself to humanitarian causes, embodying the spirit of a true artist and advocate.
