Layla El

Layla El, born on June twenty-fifth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a retired English professional wrestler, dancer, and model. She gained fame during her time in WWE, where she captivated audiences with her talent and charisma under the ring name Layla. Before her wrestling career, she showcased her dancing skills for Carnival Cruise Lines, the Miami Heat, and even performed with Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Her journey in the wrestling world began when she won the 2006 edition of WWE's Diva Search, which secured her a contract with the company. Layla made her debut on the SmackDown brand, later transitioning to ECW in January two thousand seven. There, she formed the Extreme Exposé dance troupe alongside Kelly Kelly and Brooke Adams, further establishing her presence in the wrestling community.

In two thousand eight, Layla was drafted to the Raw brand, where she took on the role of manager for William Regal. The following year, she returned to SmackDown and formed a notable alliance with Michelle McCool, known as LayCool. Her hard work and dedication paid off in May two thousand ten when she won the WWE Women's Championship, making history as the first British woman and the first Diva Search winner to achieve this honor.

Layla continued to make waves in the wrestling world, reclaiming the WWE Divas Championship in April two thousand twelve after a year-long hiatus due to injury. She held the title until September of that year, showcasing her resilience and skill. Layla remained an active competitor for three more years before announcing her retirement in two thousand fifteen, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire many.
