Lê Minh Hưng

Lê Minh Hưng, born on December eleventh, nineteen seventy, is a prominent Vietnamese economist and politician. He has been serving as the ninth Prime Minister of Vietnam since two thousand twenty-six, marking a significant milestone in his political career.

A member of the Politburo, Hưng previously held the esteemed position of Head of the Central Organization Commission and Chief of the Office of the Central Committee. His ascent in the political landscape is notable, particularly when he became the youngest Governor in the history of the State Bank of Vietnam at the age of forty-six, a role he fulfilled from two thousand sixteen until two thousand twenty under the cabinet of Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.

His political journey took a pivotal turn at the fourteenth Party Congress, where he was elevated to the Politburo. This elevation positioned him as the presumptive designate to succeed Phạm Minh Chính as Prime Minister, showcasing his influence and leadership within the Vietnamese political sphere.
