Lea Salonga, a celebrated Filipina actress and singer, is often referred to as the 'Pride of the Philippines'. With a career that spans decades, she has made her mark on both Broadway and the West End, captivating audiences worldwide with her powerful performances.

Salonga's journey in the performing arts began at a young age, making her professional debut at just seven years old. She gained international acclaim in nineteen eighty-nine when she originated the role of Kim in the West End production of 'Miss Saigon', later reprising this iconic role on Broadway in nineteen ninety-one.
