Lee Da-bin

Lee Da-bin, born on December seventh, nineteen ninety-six, is a distinguished South Korean taekwondo athlete who has made significant strides in the sport. Competing primarily in the middleweight category, she has represented her country at various international competitions, showcasing her exceptional skills and determination.

Her journey in taekwondo reached remarkable heights when she participated in the Asian Games in both twenty fourteen and twenty eighteen. In twenty fourteen, she secured a gold medal in the women's sixty-two kilogram event, followed by another gold in twenty eighteen in the women's plus sixty-seven kilogram category, where she triumphed over Kazakhstani athlete Cansel Deniz.

In addition to her Asian Games success, Lee Da-bin became a world champion in the women's middleweight event at the twenty nineteen World Taekwondo Championships. Her Olympic debut came in twenty twenty, where she made headlines by reaching the final of the women's sixty-seven kilogram event after a thrilling last-second victory against Britain's Bianca Walkden. Although she faced defeat in the gold medal match against Serbia's Milica Mandic, her performance was commendable.

Continuing her impressive career, she earned a silver medal in the women's middleweight event at the twenty twenty-two World Taekwondo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
